“ So incredibly delicious! We did a 'make your own' akra bowl with tofu, veggies, rice, plantains, with peanut sauce and a veggie bowl with the spicy honey. Both were INCREDIBLE- the perfect amount of flavor and so filling. akra had so many plant-based options as well that it was easy to choose. ”

I’ve been waiting to order because even thought I got the wrong bowl, it made me crave for more my favorite part is probably the Jollof rice.. I really cannot get enough!! The bowl is a perfect size, sauces are some of the best I’ve tasted, veggies are very fresh, & everything is seasoned to perfection. Even getting it delivered, it came warm & ready to devour! “ Food: I love to get their customs bowl with jollof rice and the jerk beef/chicken. It’s well season and has kick of heat that’s tolerable. Service: they’re more take out like style so the service is very minimal interaction. Sometimes they run of things quick so you want to make sure you follow up with them in cause they missed some things on your food. Ambiance: the new location is rather empty and doesn’t necessarily have a whole going on. They used to be at the Worcester public market which was great to get on my way back home to work. ”
“ I'd been looking forward to this visit since before it opened. The owner is one of the most unexpectedly impressive and refreshing individuals I know. The food, A1. It was delicious. Let me start with what I didn't know I would enjoy as much as I did. KALE. I don't know what they put in it, but it's yummy—perfect crunch, taste, and texture. Next, the jollof. Clearly, the chef is a grandma or aunty because, again, delicious. No spice was overwhelming. The chicken is well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. In addition to the jollof bowl, I also had a veggie bowl, which was a hit with my very picky eater husband. If you're vegan, you'll find something, vegetarians, there's food for you. Of course, for meat eaters, everything on the menu is an option. I have by-monthly meetings an hour from the restaurant (and my meeting is 4 hours from my home). Yes, I will make this 5-hour trip every other month to support this business. The owner is that amazing of a human, and the food is worth it. ”
